Important End of the Year Dates




May 25th- Deadline for submission of Senior Survey. Your information will not be in the graduation program if you do not submit your form by May 25th.


Saturday June 2nd-9:30 AM- Graduation Practice at Crestwood 

Tuesday June 5th- 10:00 AM- Graduation Practice at the Arena

Wednesday June 6, 2018 - Casual Picture- 9:00 AM- Meet in auditorium
Senior Class Night/Awards Night at Crestwood

Class Night begins at 5:30 PM  in the auditorium
Awards Night will immediately follow

Thursday June 7th 9:00 AM- Graduation Picture at Crestwood- Meet in auditorium- Bring your cap, gown, tassel, stole, honor society stole

Friday June 8th 9:00 AM- Graduation Practice at Crestwood- Meet in the auditorium

 

Graduation Sunday June 10th 2:00 PM-Mohegan Sun Arena
-Be there by 1:15 PM

Important Graduation Information:

Crestwood High School 2018 Graduation Ceremony

 

  • There are no tickets needed for graduation.  There is no limit to the number of people that can attend.
  •  
  • All graduates are to park and enter Mohegan Sun Arena at the East Gate; when looking at the building you will enter via the doors further to your right.  The arena will open at 12:45 p.m. 
  • All graduates are to be there no later than 1:15 p.m.
  • Once in the building graduates will proceed down stairwell C to the event level; no parents/family members/friends are permitted on the event level. 
  • Students will line up according to what event floor VOM entrance they are assigned C or D.  All girls will be VOM D and all boys will be VOM C.

  • After ceremony, students entering/exiting floor via VOM C (boys) can pick up their diplomas at the tables set up in the event level VOM C and proceed up stairwell C.  Tell parents to meet you at the East Gate.
  • After ceremony, students entering/exiting floor via VOM D (girls) can pick up their diplomas at the tables set up in the event level VOM D and proceed up stairwell D.  Tell parents to meet you at the West Gate.
  • If parents have students in both VOMs, meet them at the East Gate.
  • Those attending the graduation ceremony can enter/exit building via East and West Gates.
  • ADA parking is available at the East Gate .

  • ADA seating is available for patrons who are unable to walk down stairs; please make note that you are allowed to have one companion seated with you.
  • Wheelchairs are not available for getting you to/from the entrance to your seat. You must have your own wheelchair.

  • The following sections will open for seating during the CHS Graduation Ceremony:  Sections 104 (starting at the edge of the stage), 105, 106, 115, 116 and 117.  If need be overflow seating will be available in sections 108 and 114.  Upper level 200 will be opened if needed.
  • For your convenience a black backdrop will be set up near the East Gate for taking pictures.

Balloon Bouquets are not permitted inside the Arena.  Confetti, air horns, or any other flying objects are also not permitted.


Honor society medals and award pins are permitted.

No outside food or beverages are permitted in the building.  Water fountains are located mid concourse.  Concessions will not be open.
